Chicken & Waffles

Ingredients

  • Chicken & Main Ingredients
    • 5 piece Classic Fried ChickenTyson Classic Fried Chicken (prepared as per instructions on pack)

    • 4 pieces Prepared Waffles (As per instructions on pack)

  • Nashville Hot Glaze for the Fried Chicken
    • 250 ml Vegetable Oil

    • 15 grams Cayenne Powder

    • 15 ml Thai Chili Powder

    • 50 ml Brown Sugar

    • 25 grams White Sugar

    • 5 ml Paprika

    • 5 grams Garlic Powder

    • 5 grams Salt

    • 5 grams Black Pepper

  • Salted Honey Whipped Cream
    • 300 ml Whipping Cream

    • 50 ml Honey

    • 5 grams Sea Salt

    • 10 ml Vanilla Extract / Vanilla Paste

  • Garnish
    • As desired  Honey (for drizzling)

    • as desired  Black Pepper (Freshly Grounded)

Cooking Instructions

  • In a chilled mixing bowl, whip chilled whip cream to soft peaks.
  • Whisk in honey, salt and vanilla. Continue to whisk until cream reaches stiff peaks. Cover and set aside to chill.
  • In a small sauce pan, heat vegetable oil over medium low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in remaining glaze ingredients until sugar and salt have dissolved. Set aside at room temperature.
  • Prepare Classic Fried Chicken and waffles as per instructions on pack.
  • Once cooked, immediately toss or brush chicken with the Nashville Hot Glaze. Be sure to whisk briskly again before adding to the chicken.
  • Plate waffles, top with glazed chicken and top or serve with whipped cream.
  • Garnish with drizzled honey and freshly ground black pepper as desired.
  • Serve and enjoy!
